Happy Monday Beauties!

It'a time for your Daily SkinOwl Inspiration for Monday, December 10th, 2012. We are exactly three weeks away from 2013. Unbelievable!

With the end of the year coming fast and furious, it's no surprise to see so many people are on the brink of change. Whether consciously or unconsciously, many of us want closure before the ball drops. Maybe the idea of a getting a clean slate in 2013 is what pushes so many of us through these final weeks of December? Although everyday is an opportunity for a fresh start, January 1st sometimes feels "fresher" than December 10th, or February 2nd :)

That being said, it's important for us to move into the New Year with our OWN goals and mindfulness. It's easy for women to come up with a list of things that need changing or modifying. It's even easier to piggy back onto other people's resolutions and think, "Oh yeah, me too, I want to do that too!" But realistically, we can only do so much. It's important to set ourselves up for success vs. failure, mostly in these last crucial weeks. If you want to quit smoking, exercise more, eat healthier, work less, earn more, change jobs/homes/relationships, now is the time to create our game plans. This is when the gym memberships are inexpensive, knowing everyone is gearing up for more fitness. This is the time to research what vegetables are in season and fun recipes to help you cook at home more, or eat more greens. This is also the time to book appointments with bosses and game plan the ways you want to grow within the company.

When it comes to our goals, aspirations and resolutions, no one else is staying awake at night wondering if we are achieving them. They won't come anywhere else but from within US. Now's the time to make it all happen. One step at a time. That way, come January 1st, it won't be a huge weight on our shoulders. Remember, set yourself for SUCCESS and plan ahead this Holiday season :)
