Hellllooooo Friday!
This week's Friday snuck right up on me! Anyone else have a fly by week? I'm not complaining, but I swear it was just Tuesday! Without further adieu, let's get to your Daily SkinOwl Inspiration for FRIDAY, December 7th, 2012!
I think one of the most beautiful things we can experience in life is MISTAKE MAKING. It takes courage to make mistakes! In order to make mistakes, we must take risks, TRY to accomplish something, or TRY to achieve something on our own. It's not always easy to look back and say, "Oops, I am responsible for why this messed up/didn't work/didn't last," but in the end, it's these scenarios that stimulate our personal growth.
We aren't born with the tools to do everything. We aren't born with the knowledge to know everything either. People and opportunities come into our lives to give us new experiences and broaden our horizons. If we don't get it right the first time, who cares! It's to be expected! I don't know a lot of people who aren't responsible for a relationship "gone-wrong" at least once in their life (I am). I don't know anyone who hasn't made mistakes in the workplace (I have....a lot). Specifically, I don't know anyone who has spent a lifetime doing everything right the first time. Or the second. (Or the third, personally speaking)
Life is a series of moments. Some are in our control, many aren't. Some turn out good. Others present challenges. It is our duty as human beings to fail and pick back up. If we are afraid to fail, we don't evolve. And if we don't evolve, we run the risk of missing out on life's greatest experiences.
